2024 Non-Korean Startup Commercialization Program (Pilot) Announcement for Recruitment of Startups

We are pleased to announce the following recruitment of (pre-) startups to participate in the “Non-Korean Startup Commercialization Program (Pilot)” which will support promising foreign startups to enter Korea and foreigners to start businesses in Korea.

해외 유망 스타트업의 국내 진출 및 외국인의 한국 내 창업을 지원하는 “외국 스타트업 사업화 프로그램(시범사업)”에 참여할 (예비) 스타트업을 다음과 같이 모집하오니, 참고하시기 바랍니다.

1. 신청방법 및 대상 Application method and target startups
○ 신청기간 Application period : 2024.08.12(월) 16:00 ~ 2024.09.06(금) 15:00 까지
○ 신청방법 How to apply : 온라인 접수 https://www.startup-korea.com
○ 신청대상 Application target startups
(Pre-) startups whose representative is not a Korean national*, and are within 7 years into business (10 years in case of new industry sector)

2. 제출서류 Submission documents
○ Application form (in English)
○ Introductory materials
○ Copy of passport
○ Business registration certificate
○ Additional documents (If eligible for extra points)

3. 선정절차 및 평가방법 Selection process and evaluation method
○ Evaluation Process : Evaluation will be conducted in the following order: (1) review of requirements → (2) document evaluation → (3) presentation evaluation, and the score for each phase of evaluation will apply only to that phase.

4. 지원내용 Support Contents
○ Commercialization funds (around KRW 40 million) and follow-up programs through Global Startup Center (GSC)
